Microsoft XBox 360 S

The Xbox 360 S, commonly referred to as the Xbox 360 Slim, is a redesigned version of Microsoft’s Xbox 360 console. It was released in 2010 as a successor to the original 2005 model, offering improved hardware, quieter operation, and a more compact design.

The console features a matte or glossy black finish with a streamlined case and touch-sensitive power and eject buttons. It includes built-in Wi-Fi (802.11n), which was previously only available via an external adapter, and comes standard with a 250 GB hard drive in most configurations. The Xbox 360 S also added an additional USB port, a dedicated port for the Kinect sensor, and an internal power supply fan designed to reduce overheating.

Internally, the console incorporated updated chipsets with a 45nm CPU and GPU on a single die, resulting in better energy efficiency and reliability. It remained compatible with all existing Xbox 360 games and accessories.
