Microsoft XBox Translucent Green Edition

The translucent green Xbox Limited Edition is a special version of the original Microsoft Xbox console, released in Europe in 2004 to celebrate the system’s success. Known informally as the “Green Crystal” edition, it features a transparent green plastic shell and matching controller, offering a visually distinctive alternative to the standard black model.

This edition was released in limited quantities across several European countries, including the UK, Germany, and France. In most regions, the bundle included the console, one or two translucent green “Controller S” gamepads, and popular games such as Halo or a demo disc, depending on the market.

Internally, the Green Crystal Xbox is functionally identical to the standard model, using the same Intel Pentium III-based processor, Nvidia GPU, and hard drive. Its appeal lies primarily in its unique aesthetic and limited availability
