Playstation 2 Aqua Blue

The Sony PlayStation 2 Aqua Blue was a limited color edition of the original “fat” PlayStation 2 console, released primarily in Japan and some Asian markets during the early 2000s. This variant featured a translucent blue casing that revealed some of the internal components, giving it a distinctive and visually appealing look compared to the standard matte black model.

Functionally identical to the standard PS2, the Aqua Blue edition included all core features such as backward compatibility with PlayStation 1 games, DVD playback, two controller ports, and two memory card slots. The console supported both vertical and horizontal orientations and used the front-loading disc tray mechanism.
