Playstation 2 Satin Silver

The Sony PlayStation 2 Satin Silver edition was a special color variant of the original “fat” PlayStation 2 console, released primarily in Japan and select international markets in the early 2000s. Unlike the standard black model, this version featured a distinctive silver-colored chassis and matching silver DualShock 2 controller.

Functionally, the Satin Silver PS2 was identical to the standard model, featuring the same hardware specifications: backward compatibility with PlayStation 1 games, DVD playback, two controller ports, and two memory card slots. It used the traditional vertical or horizontal orientation with the front-loading disc tray and maintained all the capabilities of the regular PS2.
