Sony Playstation 2 Slim Pink Edition

The PlayStation 2 Slim Pink Edition was a limited color variant of Sony’s slimline PlayStation 2 console, released in select markets in 2006. Technically identical to the standard PS2 Slim models, it featured a glossy pink exterior and a matching DualShock 2 controller, aiming to appeal to a broader and more style-conscious audience.

The Pink Edition was part of Sony’s initiative to offer more personalization options during the PS2’s later years, particularly targeting demographics such as female gamers and gift buyers. It retained all functionality of the PS2 Slim, including DVD playback, two controller ports, two memory card slots, and full backward compatibility with original PlayStation games. The system was compact, quiet, and lightweight, with a top-loading disc tray.
