| The Commodore 64 Mini (also styled THEC64 Mini) is a half-scale remake of the iconic 1982 Commodore 64 home computer, released by Retro Games Ltd in late 2017 (Europe) and officially in North America in October 2018. It emulates the original system on an Allwinner A20 ARM-based SoC running Linux and the VICE emulator, outputting 720p HDMI video with options for PAL/NTSC and CRT-style filtering. The unit comes with 64 built-in classic titles—such as Uridium, Paradroid, Impossible Mission, Boulder Dash, California Games, Winter Games—and allows users to load additional games (.d64, .crt, .tap, etc.) from a USB stick. Save states at multiple slots per game are supported, and it includes a BASIC mode accessible via on-screen keyboard or external USB keyboard. |
