Captain ‘S’, known in Spain as Capitán Sevilla, is a quirky action-platformer developed by Spanish studio Hi‑Score and published by Dinamic Software in 1988. Later budget-released on the CPC under the Winner label in the UK, the game offers a unique premise and flashy audiovisual presentation.
Players control Mariano López, a delivery man who gains superpowers after eating a radiation-contaminated blood sausage—transforming into Captain Sevilla. The game is split into two distinct phases (each on one side of the cassette), making use of a double-load system. Players can perform super jumps, gliding, punches, and shoot these magical sausages while navigating urban environments to defeat the mad scientist Torrebruno.
