Chuckie Egg is an early single-screen platformer where players control Henhouse Harry, tasked with collecting a dozen eggs per level while evading hens, navigating moving platforms and elevators. After the initial eight screens, the game loops with increased difficulty, introducing faster enemies and a giant duck.
The Amstrad CPC version is a faithful port of the ZX Spectrum original, featuring responsive controls, smooth platform physics, and bright, chunky sprites. Its challenging timing puzzles and level memorization made it both addictive and notoriously difficult for its time.
