Yabba Dabba Doo! is a prehistoric-themed action game based on The Flintstones TV series. Originally developed by Taskset and published by Quicksilva in 1986, it was later reissued in budget form by Bug‑Byte. Players control Fred Flintstone as he works to build a house and win Wilma’s heart. Gameplay involves clearing small rocks from the building site, gathering boulders, securing a quarry job, and earning enough resources to place a roof using a dinosaur crane. Along the way, Fred faces hazards such as turtle-like dinosaurs, pterodactyls dropping rocks, and thieving neighbors. Once the house is complete, Fred must find Wilma and ensure his heart meter is full before she follows him home. The Amstrad CPC version faithfully captures the game’s charming visuals, quirky puzzle tasks, and lighthearted arcade-style gameplay.
