Description:
Ms. Pac-Man is a maze-based arcade game originally developed by General Computer Corporation and published by Midway. The Apple II version, released by Atarisoft in 1984, features four different maze layouts, each with increasing complexity. The player navigates Ms. Pac-Man through each maze while collecting pellets and avoiding four enemy characters: Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Sue. Energizer pellets allow the player to temporarily defeat enemies for bonus points, which increase with each successive ghost eaten. The game includes intermissions between levels and features bonus fruits that appear periodically for additional points. The Apple II version supports both keyboard and joystick input and uses the system’s high-resolution graphics mode.
