Parashooter is a shooting game released for the Ormatu Video Computer Game, a Dutch clone of the Emerson Arcadia 2001 console. It was published in the early 1980s as part of the official Ormatu library. Like many Arcadia-based games, it adopted simple arcade-style mechanics designed for quick play sessions.

In the game, the player controls a cannon or ground-based turret positioned at the bottom of the screen. From above, enemy paratroopers or other figures descend toward the ground, often carried by parachutes. The objective is to shoot them before they land. If too many enemies reach the ground, the player risks being overrun, which typically ends the game.

The presentation follows the technical limitations of the Arcadia hardware: basic blocky graphics, limited animation frames, and simple color schemes. Sound effects consist of short tones that signal firing, hits, or failed attempts. The gameplay, however, requires precision and timing, as the descending targets increase in number or speed.
