Description:
Bug Off! is a fixed-screen shooter released by Adventure International for the Atari 8-bit in 1982. The player controls a DDT sprayer positioned at the edges of the screen tasked with protecting a garden located at the center from waves of mutant insects emerging from a sinkhole. The sprayer automatically points towards the center, and the player must eliminate various insect types, including bees and spiders, before they damage the garden. The game features increasing difficulty with multiple rounds, night phases where additional DDT cans are dropped, and limited ammunition. The game ends when all lives are lost. It was also released in Germany under the title Kampf dem Ungeziefer in 1984.
