Food Fight

Genre: Action
Publisher: Atari
Year: 1987
System: Atari 8-bit

Food Fight is an action maze game where players control Charley Chuck, a young boy attempting to eat an ice cream cone before it melts. The cone is located on the opposite side of the screen, and players must navigate through a maze while avoiding four chefs—Angelo, Jacques, Oscar, and Zorba—who are trying to stop him by throwing food.

The gameplay involves moving Charley Chuck across the screen, collecting food items to throw at the chefs to slow them down or temporarily disable them. The objective is to reach the ice cream cone before it melts, all while managing the challenges posed by the pursuing chefs.

Developed by General Computer Corporation and published by Atari, Food Fight was released in arcades in 1983 and later ported to the Atari 7800 and Atari 8-bit computers in 1986. The game is known for its unique joystick controls and humorous theme, distinguishing it from other arcade games of its time.
