Molecule Man is an isometric 3D action-adventure game where you control the Molecule Man, trapped inside a radioactive maze. Your goal is to collect 16 pieces of a circuit board scattered throughout the maze in order to repair the escape teleporter and get out before time runs out.
While navigating the maze, you must manage your radiation levels by picking up pills. You can also collect coins to buy bombs and additional pills from dispensers placed around the maze. The game features a level editor that allows players to create their own maze layouts, adding to its replay value.
The Atari 8-bit version, like other releases, combines puzzle-solving with real-time action, challenging players to explore efficiently while avoiding hazards.
