32 in 1 Game Cartridge is a compilation cartridge released in 1988 for the Atari 2600 in PAL regions, as well as for the Atari 7800 in some territories. It bundles thirty-two different games from earlier Atari 2600 releases into a single cartridge. The cartridge was often included as a pack-in with certain units of the console or sold separately.
The games included span multiple genres: sports, shooters, board games, educational titles, and classic arcade-style action. Contents include titles like Basketball, Freeway, Bowling, Boxing, Golf, Outlaw, Space War, Combat, Checkers, and others. Some games are renamed versions of originals, and some are “hacked” or modified from their Activision or Atari originals.
Gameplay for each included title retains the same mechanics as the original 2600 versions. Players use a joystick and occasionally paddle controllers (where supported) to play the various mini-games. Multiplayer is supported in many of the game titles, either in split-screen or turn-based manner, depending on the original game.
