Year: 1999
System: Bandai Wonderswan

Wonder Stadium is a baseball game developed by Namco and published by Bandai for the monochrome WonderSwan, released on March 11, 1999. Players can choose from fourteen teams—twelve modeled after real Japanese professional squads and two fictional—across several gameplay modes: All‑Star Duel, Exhibition Game, or Home Run Competition. Customizable options include setting the number of innings (1 to 9) and assigning names to generic players.

Matches feature behind-plate batting views and bird’s-eye fielding sequences. Batting involves timing swings for hits or bunts, with control over bunt direction. Pitching allows the player to adjust pitch power and aim. Once the ball is in play, fielding switches views, with the closest fielder moving under direct control to catch or throw to the desired base. This system provides a balance between simplicity and player involvement in defensive plays.
