Looping is an action flight simulation game developed by UPL and published by Coleco for the ColecoVision console in 1983. The game is based on UPL’s 1982 arcade title and features fast-paced aerial combat and stunt flying. Players pilot a fighter plane through various stages, engaging enemy aircraft and performing aerial maneuvers such as loops to evade attacks and score points.

Gameplay combines shooting enemies and avoiding obstacles with skillful flying techniques. Players face waves of enemy planes, anti-aircraft guns, and other hazards across multiple levels, each progressively more challenging. The game emphasizes timing and precision to complete loops and other aerial stunts while maintaining offensive pressure.

The ColecoVision version translates the arcade experience with colorful graphics and smooth scrolling backgrounds. Although limited by home hardware, the game retains core elements of the arcade original, including the need for strategic maneuvering and quick reflexes.
