Space Hawk is an arcade-style action game released for the Intellivision in 1981. Developed and published by Mattel Electronics, the game features gameplay similar to Atari’s Asteroids. Players control an astronaut stranded in deep space, equipped with a jet pack and a laser gun to navigate and defend against enemies.

The primary antagonist in Space Hawk is a white space hawk that roams the screen, leaving a trail of deadly bubbles behind it. Players must destroy both the space hawk and the bubbles to score points. The game challenges players to avoid collisions while attempting to eliminate these threats.

To aid in survival, the astronaut has the ability to enter hyperspace, temporarily transporting to a random location on the screen. However, this ability is limited, requiring players to use it strategically to avoid danger.
