Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. Released for Xbox 360 in 2011, it is the fourth major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and continues the story of Ezio Auditore.
The game takes place primarily in Constantinople during the early 16th century, where Ezio seeks to uncover the secrets left behind by Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad, his legendary ancestor. The narrative explores themes of legacy and the convergence of past and present.
Gameplay builds on previous entries with refined parkour, combat, and stealth mechanics. New features include the use of a hook blade for faster traversal and a bomb crafting system that allows players to create and deploy various explosives. The game also includes tower defense mini-games and expanded multiplayer modes.
The Xbox 360 version offers detailed environments recreating Constantinople and supports both single-player and multiplayer experiences. Post-launch downloadable content provides additional missions and multiplayer maps.
