Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is an action-adventure game developed by Junction Point Studios and released for Xbox 360 in 2012. It is the sequel to the 2010 Wii-exclusive Epic Mickey and features both single-player and drop-in/drop-out cooperative gameplay. Players control Mickey Mouse and, for the first time, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit as they explore a world known as the Wasteland, populated by forgotten Disney characters and attractions.
The game is built around the same core mechanic as its predecessor: Mickey uses a magical paintbrush to spray paint and thinner, allowing players to create or erase elements of the environment to solve puzzles and influence the game world. Oswald, controlled either by a second player or AI, uses a remote control to manipulate electricity and access certain areas or devices.
Set after the events of the original game, the story follows the duo as they investigate mysterious earthquakes threatening the Wasteland and face off against returning enemies. The narrative places greater emphasis on character voice acting and musical elements, with key moments presented as musical numbers.
