Azurik: Rise of Perathia is an action-adventure game developed by Adrenium Games and published by Microsoft Game Studios. It was released in 2001 as one of the early titles for the Xbox console.

The player controls Azurik, a young Lore Guardian who must restore balance to the world of Perathia after his mentor betrays him and destroys the elemental discs. The game takes place across six elemental realms where Azurik recovers the shattered discs to prevent the collapse of the world.

Gameplay revolves around Azurik’s ability to wield the four elements—Earth, Air, Fire, and Water—using his weapon called the Axion. Players combine these elemental powers to create new abilities for solving puzzles and fighting enemies. The game features expansive environments with distinct visual themes corresponding to each elemental realm.

The soundtrack was composed by Jeremy Soule. Although the game introduced a creative elemental power system and large interconnected worlds, it received mixed reviews due to issues with combat controls, camera mechanics, and technical glitches.
