Project: Snowblind is a first-person shooter developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Eidos Interactive. Released in 2005 for Xbox, PlayStation 2, and Windows, the game was initially conceived as part of the Deus Ex series but evolved into a standalone title with a futuristic military setting.

Players assume the role of Nathan Frost, a soldier transformed into a cybernetically enhanced operative after being critically injured. Set in a near-future Hong Kong plagued by civil unrest and technological warfare, Frost is deployed as part of an elite international force combating a terrorist uprising. The storyline unfolds across a variety of mission-based levels with a mix of open-ended and linear objectives.

The Xbox version features traditional FPS mechanics along with Frost’s augmentations, which allow for enhanced speed, shield deployment, and vision modes. Players can also use a variety of futuristic weapons and gadgets, including smart grenades, deployable turrets, and a hacking tool. The game supports both single-player and online multiplayer modes, with the latter including multiple match types and up to 16 players.

Project: Snowblind received generally favorable reviews for its solid shooting mechanics and fast-paced action. The Xbox version holds a Metacritic score of 77/100.
