The game follows twin sisters Mio and Mayu Amakura as they become trapped in the abandoned Minakami Village, a place haunted by restless spirits and dark rituals. As players guide Mio through the village in search of a way out, they uncover the town’s tragic past and the supernatural forces responsible for its curse.
The primary gameplay mechanic centers on the Camera Obscura, which players use to photograph and exorcise hostile ghosts. The Xbox version introduces a new first-person view mode, enhancing immersion and intensifying encounters. Other additions include new costumes, ghosts, and an adjustable difficulty setting for players seeking a greater challenge.
