Dam Buster is a strategic arcade game featuring two variations of Breakout gameplay. In Blockout!, the player must clear through four colored lines of blocks within 90 seconds. Electronic demons replenish removed blocks when charged by touching the screen sides but lose charge and may fall if crossing gaps uncharged. In two-player mode, the second player controls these electronic demons to hinder the first player.

In Breakdown!, the objective is to destroy as many blocks as possible in 60 seconds. The ball only ricochets off screen edges and destroys all blocks it passes through. The second player, if present, controls faster demons moving twice as quick as in Blockout!. A counter tracks the remaining blocks.

Both variations offer unlimited balls and emphasize both strategic positioning and fast reflexes. Dam Buster is recognized for its unique twist on Breakout-style gameplay and competitive elements on the Videopac system.
