World Class Leader Board for Game Gear is a golf simulation game developed by Tiertex Design Studios and published by Sega. It is part of the Leader Board series and offers a golfing experience with an emphasis on wind, power, snap, and aiming mechanics. The game features multiple courses including real-world locations such as St. Andrews in Scotland, Cypress Creek, and Doral Country Club in the USA, along with a fictional course named The Gauntlet, which is designed to challenge even the most skilled players.

Players can practice their putting and long shots in dedicated ranges, and the game includes a course editor that allows the selection and customization of 18 holes out of a total of 72, including the ability to change tree types around the holes. Gameplay progresses quickly with little downtime between shots, maintaining a steady pace. A multiplayer mode is supported with hot-seat play for up to four players on one device.

The game’s visuals provide recognizable depictions of the courses with trees and hazards laid out clearly, though terrain heights are flat, which affects the environmental realism. The wind mechanic has been noted as tricky and somewhat unpredictable by players, adding an additional layer of challenge. Despite some limitations, the sound design is commendable, especially for its time, and includes crowd noises and simple commentary on shots.
