Starfighter 3000 is a 3D space combat simulation game developed by Krisalis Software Ltd. and released for the Sega Saturn in 1996. The game is set in a futuristic universe where players pilot the Predator Mark-IV fighter ship through various missions across different planets. Unlike traditional space shooters, Starfighter 3000 incorporates elements of strategy, allowing players to command wingmen and plan attacks during missions.

The gameplay is mission-based, with each level presenting unique objectives such as escorting allies, destroying enemy installations, or engaging in dogfights with hostile forces. The game features a 3D environment with texture-mapped graphics, providing a more immersive experience compared to earlier 3D titles on the Saturn.

Starfighter 3000 was ported from the 3DO version, which was released in 1995. The Saturn version includes enhancements such as improved graphics and additional missions. However, the game received mixed reviews upon release. Critics noted that while the game offered a visually appealing experience, the controls were sometimes cumbersome, and the gameplay lacked depth compared to other space shooters of the time.
