Duke Nukem Forever: Balls of Steel Edition is a collector’s edition release of Duke Nukem Forever, the long-awaited sequel to Duke Nukem 3D. The game itself is a first-person shooter that retains the over-the-top style, humor, and adult themes associated with the franchise. After more than a decade in development, it was released in 2011 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows.

This special edition was produced in limited quantities and bundled the standard game disc with a wide range of physical collectibles. Items included a 12.7 cm Duke Nukem bust, a hardcover art book titled History, Legacy & Legend: Duke Nukem Forever Art from the Vault, a set of Duke playing cards, poker chips, dice, and a deck of postcards. Additional items such as a numbered certificate of authenticity and a Duke-themed comic book were also part of the package.

The edition emphasized the game’s casino and Las Vegas themes through its poker and gambling-inspired extras. The bust and art book highlighted the long development history of the title, while the smaller collectibles provided novelty value for fans of the character and the series. The contents varied slightly between regions, but the overall presentation was consistent in offering an extensive set of memorabilia.
