LEGO Jurassic World is an action-adventure game developed by Traveller’s Tales and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It adapts the first four films of the Jurassic Park franchise—Jurassic Park (1993), The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), Jurassic Park III (2001), and Jurassic World (2015)—into a humorous LEGO-themed experience.
The game features an open-world hub where players can explore Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna, unlocking characters, vehicles, and dinosaurs as they progress. Gameplay consists of puzzle-solving, platforming, and combat using a large roster of playable characters, each with unique abilities suited to different challenges. Players can switch between characters to solve environmental puzzles and navigate through the story-driven missions.
The PlayStation 3 version includes all the core content found in other platforms, with no significant exclusive features or graphical enhancements due to hardware limitations compared to newer consoles. It supports local two-player cooperative gameplay, allowing players to collaborate throughout the story mode.
Critically, LEGO Jurassic World received generally positive reviews, with praise given to its faithful recreation of the film stories, variety of characters and dinosaurs, and family-friendly gameplay. Some criticism was directed at the game’s camera system and occasional repetitiveness.
