Genre: Third-person shooter
Developer: Incognito Entertainment
Publisher: Sony Computer Entertainment
Year: 2007
Platform: PlayStation 3

Warhawk for PlayStation 3 is an online-focused third-person shooter developed by Incognito Entertainment and released in 2007. It is a reimagining of the 1995 PlayStation game of the same name but shifts the focus from a single-player experience to exclusively multiplayer gameplay.

The game supports large-scale battles with up to 32 players across a variety of modes including Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and Zones. Set in a science-fiction world, Warhawk offers players the ability to fight on foot, operate ground vehicles such as tanks and jeeps, and pilot aircraft known as Warhawks. These elements create dynamic combined-arms battles across expansive maps.

The PlayStation 3 version was one of the first titles on the platform to heavily emphasize online play. It offered both downloadable and retail disc editions, with the physical release including a Bluetooth headset to support voice communication. The game did not include any offline or single-player modes, although local split-screen multiplayer was supported.

Warhawk received praise for its gameplay balance, vehicle mechanics, and large-scale map design. It also saw continued support after release through downloadable content that added new maps, vehicles, and game modes. Sony shut down the game’s official servers in 2019, ending its online functionality.
