Genre: Wrestling / Sports
Developer: Yuke’s, Visual Concepts
Publisher: 2K Sports
Year: 2014
Platform: PlayStation 3

WWE 2K15 is a professional wrestling video game developed by Yuke’s in collaboration with Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. Released in 2014, it is part of the WWE 2K series and was made available on multiple platforms, including a PlayStation 3 version that differs notably from its PlayStation 4 and Xbox One counterparts.

The PlayStation 3 version retains the core gameplay and match types seen in previous entries but lacks some of the major updates found on the newer platforms. It includes the “2K Showcase” mode, which allows players to relive classic rivalries such as John Cena vs. CM Punk and Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels through a series of matches interspersed with historical video clips and objectives.

Unlike the versions on newer consoles, the PS3 release does not feature the new MyCareer mode or the overhauled presentation and animation system. The Create-a-Wrestler suite, Universe mode, and online multiplayer options remain in place, offering continuity for fans of the franchise.

Despite the more limited feature set, the PS3 version of WWE 2K15 provides a familiar wrestling experience and serves as a transitional title in the series, maintaining legacy content while setting the stage for more significant changes in future installments.
