Description:
Lights Out on the Tiger Game.com is a digital adaptation of Tiger Electronics’ popular handheld electronic puzzle toy. The game expands on the original by presenting a 6×6 grid of lights (compared to the original’s 5×5 grid) where the player’s goal is to turn off all the lights on the panel. When a light is toggled, it and its adjacent lights switch states from on to off or vice versa, adding complexity to the puzzle.
The game features several modes including the classic mode, “Lit Only” mode which restricts the player to interacting with lit lights, and a “Toggle” mode that requires alternating between lit and unlit lights with each move. Additionally, a random mode cycles through up to 60 billion possible puzzle combinations, keeping gameplay fresh and challenging.
Controls utilize the Game.com’s touchscreen interface to allow precise selection of lights using a stylus. Each puzzle has a minimum number of moves theoretically required to solve it; exceeding this moves limit brings a failure condition, encouraging careful planning and strategy.
